Industry Visit to WSO2

Concluding Path to Internship '26 (PTI '26) , the Industry Visit to WSO2 was successfully organized by the IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT in collaboration with the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Student Chapter of SLIIT. The visit provided undergraduate students with first-hand exposure to one of Sri Lanka's leading technology companies, allowing participants to gain valuable insights into modern software engineering practices, workplace culture, innovation, and the expectations of today's technology industry. Throughout the visit, students interacted with experienced professionals, explored WSO2's collaborative work environment, and learned about real-world engineering practices, emerging technologies, and career pathways within the technology sector. The industry visit successfully enhanced participants' understanding of professional work environments while inspiring them to confidently prepare for internships and future engineering careers.
