HackElite 3.0 - Workshop 4

Description

The fourth workshop of HackElite 3.0 was successfully conducted on July 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The session was delivered by Mr. Nuwan Deshapriya, Software Engineer at OrangeHRM, the Official Knowledge Partner of HackElite 3.0. The workshop provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the evolution of API technologies, beginning with REST, progressing through GraphQL, and concluding with the emerging Model Context Protocol (MCP) that powers AI agents. The session highlighted the strengths, use cases, and practical applications of each approach, enabling participants to better understand modern API architectures and their significance in developing scalable, intelligent software systems. The workshop was open to all and attracted 50 participants, fostering an engaging learning environment through insightful discussions and real-world industry perspectives.
