The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka organized a panel discussion as a pre-conference event of the 6th International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing (ICARC 2026). Under the theme "Breaking Barriers: Empowering Women Innovators in Emerging Technologies," the session brought together distinguished IEEE leaders and professionals to discuss women's leadership in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, research, innovation, mentorship, and sustainable engineering.
