IEEE Officer Training & LeaderCon 2026

Description

Hosted by IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa and organized by SLSAC, this event brought together newly appointed officers, branch counselors, and section leadership under one roof to align on operations, communication, and collaboration for the 2026 term. The event combined three key sessions. Officer Training prepared newly appointed IEEE Student Branch Officers for their roles, covering effective Student Branch operations, reporting procedures, and activity planning in line with IEEE requirements. The Branch Counselor Meeting brought together Student Branch Chairs, Branch Counselors, and the IEEE Sri Lanka Section ExCom to discuss challenges, clarify doubts, and address operational and administrative matters. LeaderCon rounded off the day as a collaborative forum connecting Student Branch Organizational Units with Section Affinity Groups and Technical Chapters, fostering discussion, networking, and closer coordination across the section.
