Microsoft Build //localhost Sri Lanka 2026 was organized in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Developer Forum and the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of IIT to bring the global Microsoft Build experience to the local developer community. The event aimed to provide students, developers, and technology professionals with the opportunity to explore the latest innovations announced at Microsoft Build 2026 while gaining practical knowledge through technical sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences. Throughout the event, participants attended expert-led sessions covering Artificial Intelligence, Azure, Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot, cloud computing, and modern software development practices. Speakers shared practical insights into building intelligent applications, leveraging AI-powered developer tools, and adopting industry best practices for cloud-native development. The conference also created an excellent platform for networking, allowing participants to engage with Microsoft experts, industry professionals, and fellow developers while fostering collaboration within Sri Lanka's technology community.
