About the Event The IEEE SPS CINEC Campus Student Branch, alongside the IEEE SPS Sri Lanka Chapter, is hosting an international technical webinar focused on modern developments in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI-Driven Language Technologies . Featuring a keynote address by Dr. Smriti Priya Medhi, Assistant Professor (Senior) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Assam Don Bosco University, this session offers undergraduate engineering students, researchers, and technical enthusiasts deep insights into core NLP fundamentals, deep learning approaches for speech and text, and key applications in low-resource language processing . Attendees will benefit from a comprehensive keynote presentation on AI-driven language technologies, direct engagement during an interactive Q&A session, and the opportunity to test their knowledge in a Live Technical Quiz Competition .
