MazeX 1.0 - Workshop 2

Description

The second workshop of MazeX 1.0, organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Student Branch Chapter and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group of the University of Moratuwa, was conducted on 25 April 2026 at 7.00 PM. The session focused on microcontroller programming, sensor interfacing, and the fundamental movements of a Micromouse robot . Participants explored how sensors and motors work together to enable controlled and responsive robotic navigation. The workshop was conducted by Mr.Charitha Dombawala and Danuja Jayasinghe, Electronic Engineers at Zone24x7, who provided practical guidance and industry oriented insights into the integration of hardware and software in intelligent robotic systems. The session was attended by 50+ participants. The workshop was further strengthened by Zone24x7, the Official Workshop Partner of MazeX 1.0, whose industry expertise contributed to providing participants with practical technical knowledge.
