MazeX 1.0 - Workshop 3

Description

The third workshop of MazeX 1.0 was held on 9 May 2026 at 7.00 PM, focusing on PID control, wall-following techniques, and intelligent robot navigation . The session introduced participants to the use of sensor feedback to maintain robot stability and accurately follow walls, while developing their understanding of control systems and autonomous decision making techniques essential for Micromouse navigation. The workshop was conducted by Mr.Kavishka Jayakody, a Third-Year Undergraduate in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa and an Embedded Systems Intern at Paraqum Technologies, together with Rajinthan Rameshkumar, a Research Intern at the Satellite Technology and Research Laboratory. Their expertise provided participants with valuable technical knowledge and practical insights into robotic control and navigation.
