The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Sri Lanka Chapter conducted the Young Professionals (YP) Ambassador Programme 2026 Induction Session on 23 August 2026. The session provided an introduction to IEEE GRSS and the IEEE GRSS Sri Lanka Chapter, including its objectives, activities, and opportunities for students and young professionals. The selected YP Ambassadors and University Mentors were introduced to the 2026 YP Ambassador Programme, its objectives, roles and responsibilities, event requirements, funding guidelines, and programme timeline. The session also highlighted activities and technical events conducted in the previous year.
