Annual General Meeting (AGM) – IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Student Branch Chapter

Description

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Student Branch Chapter of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka was held on 16th July 2026 at the Auditorium, Faculty of Geomatics. The meeting was conducted to formally establish the Chapter and appoint the office bearers for the 2026/2027 term. The AGM included welcome remarks, addresses by the Chapter Advisor and Dean of the Faculty of Geomatics, followed by the nomination and appointment of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Event Coordinator, Content Coordinator, Webmaster, and Advisor. An open discussion was also held to gather suggestions for future activities of the IEEE GRSS Student Branch Chapter.
