RoboGensis Session Series – Session 02, Workshop 01 was conducted on 17 August 2026 at the Telecommunication Lab, Sollertia Building, Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. The workshop was designed to provide participants with practical and industry-oriented knowledge in the areas of robotics, software development, and embedded systems. The session covered fundamental concepts related to software and embedded engineering, their applications in robotics, and the role of embedded technologies in developing intelligent and automated systems. Participants were introduced to real-world industry practices, technical approaches, and challenges encountered in software and embedded engineering projects. The session also provided insights into how software and hardware components work together in embedded and robotic systems. Mr. Mohammed Nasik, Software and Embedded Engineer at Edex Electrons and Senior Software Engineer at Koedit (Pvt) Ltd, shared his professional experience and industry knowledge with the participants. The workshop included technical discussions, practical insights, and an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to clarify their questions and gain a better understanding of the field.
