IEEE Xtreme 20.0 USJ – First Organizing Committee Meeting

The first organizing committee meeting for IEEE Xtreme 20.0 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was conducted between the IEEE Student Branch Executive Committee and the appointed Event Chair. During the meeting, the IEEE Xtreme 20.0 initiative was formally introduced to the Event Chair by the Student Branch Executive Committee. The objectives, overall concept, and expected organizational requirements of the event were discussed. The initial plan for conducting IEEE Xtreme 20.0 at USJ was discussed, along with the key activities and processes that need to be carried out during the preparation phase. Particular attention was given to the upcoming Organizing Committee (OC) recruitment/call for applications, the formation of the organizing team, allocation of responsibilities, and the initial coordination required for successfully organizing the event. The meeting served as the initial planning and coordination session between the Student Branch Executive Committee and the Event Chair and established the foundation for the subsequent organizing activities of IEEE Xtreme 20.0.
