IEEE Day 2026 USJ – 1st Organizing Committee Meeting

The 1st Organizing Committee Meeting for IEEE Day 2026 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was conducted between the IEEE Student Branch Executive Committee and the appointed IEEE Day Ambassador/Event Chair, Disen Sathnidu. During the meeting, the IEEE Day 2026 event was formally introduced to the Event Chair by the Student Branch Executive Committee. The initial concept, objectives, and overall plan for the event were discussed, along with the proposed organizational structure and upcoming preparations. Key processes, including the opening of the Organizing Committee (OC) calling and the subsequent formation of the organizing team, were also discussed. The meeting served as the initial planning and coordination session for IEEE Day 2026 USJ and established the groundwork for the upcoming event preparations.
