Session 02 of XELERATE’26 , held on 18th August 2026 via Google Meet, focused on one of the most important stages of entrepreneurship: transforming an initial business idea into a practical and market-validated solution . The session was conducted by Eng. Chanaka Prasad, Founder of IDEA8 . The session guided participants through identifying and refining business ideas, understanding customer problems, developing practical solutions, building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), testing assumptions, and validating ideas through real customer feedback . The discussion emphasized the importance of learning, adapting, and validating a solution before investing significant resources into full-scale development. The primary objective of the session was to help participants understand how to move beyond an idea and develop solutions that address genuine market needs while reducing uncertainty through testing and validation. The session successfully strengthened participants’ understanding of idea validation and MVP development , enabling them to refine their concepts and take more informed steps toward developing market-oriented solutions for the upcoming XELERATE’26 Pitching Competition .
