The IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura successfully organized Nexora 1.0, a virtual technical session focused on Sri Lanka’s energy transition and sustainable power solutions. The session explored the integration of renewable energy sources, grid stability and modernization, power generation and distribution strategies, and policy dynamics shaping the country's clean energy roadmap. Through practical case studies and expert insights, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in shifting toward a low-carbon energy system. An interactive Q&A session further enhanced participant engagement, offering valuable perspectives on emerging career opportunities and technological advancements within Sri Lanka’s evolving energy landscape.
