IEEE Week 2026: IEEE Awareness Session is an introductory session organized to welcome incoming students to the IEEE community and provide them with an understanding of the opportunities available through IEEE membership. The session will introduce participants to IEEE, the University of Ruhuna IEEE Student Branch, its activities, technical societies, volunteering opportunities, professional development opportunities, networking possibilities, competitions, workshops, and upcoming Student Branch initiatives. The session is designed to help students understand how participation in IEEE can support their academic, technical, professional, and leadership development throughout their university journey.
