Inside AI 3.0: AI That Actually Makes Money

As AI moves from experimentation into mainstream products, services, and business operations, understanding how it creates tangible value matters more than ever. Continuing its exploration of the many dimensions of AI, AI-Driven Sri Lanka, an initiative of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, presented Inside AI 3.0 in collaboration with Codimite on 20 August 2026 at Codimite's premises, under the theme "AI That Actually Makes Money." This third edition shifted the conversation to where AI, innovation, and business value meet together, through workshops, technical talks, and industry exposure. Participants looked beyond technical capability to ask how intelligent solutions can meet genuine market needs and create sustainable opportunities. Sessions covered identifying real-world problems, understanding users, building viable solutions, and recognizing paths to sustainable growth, while stressing the importance of pairing technical expertise with business and entrepreneurial thinking as AI spreads across sectors. Inside AI 3.0 challenged participants to think not only about what AI can do, but why it matters, who it serves, and how it creates value, furthering AIDSL's mission of exposing young professionals to the different dimensions of the AI ecosystem.
