The session introduced the AI Challenge, its objectives, and its overall structure, including the phases teams would progress through and the timeline to follow. Participants were briefed on how the competition would run, what was expected of each team, and the submission requirements at every stage. A key segment covered the evaluation process, outlining the criteria judges would use to assess projects and how teams could align their solutions with them, with emphasis on real-world impact, the use of AI, and the quality of the working prototype. The technical briefing offered guidance on the tools, platforms, and technologies teams could use to build their solutions, along with practical advice on planning projects, collaborating effectively, and avoiding common pitfalls.
