The Exclusive Round Table Discussion with Nagarro was organized by Nagarro Software Pvt Ltd in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka and IEEE LETs talk, providing selected undergraduates with an opportunity to engage directly with experienced industry professionals in an interactive discussion. The session was centred on the theme “Global Tech Trends & How Students Should Upskill and Reskill for the Future,” exploring the rapidly evolving technology landscape and the importance of developing relevant skills to remain prepared for future industry demands. The discussion featured industry experts Mr. Ajay Goel, Ms. Shruti Tandon, Ms. Rashi Kakkar, and Ms. Tanvi Singhal, who shared perspectives on emerging technology trends, changing industry expectations, and the role of continuous learning in professional development. A group of 10 selected undergraduates representing the IEEE Sri Lanka Section participated in the round table, creating a focused environment for meaningful discussion and direct interaction with industry professionals. Throughout the session, participants were encouraged to look beyond academic knowledge and consider the importance of upskilling, reskilling, adaptability, and continuous professional development in preparing for careers within a rapidly changing technology industry. The session provided participants with valuable exposure to industry thinking while encouraging them to remain curious, adaptable, and proactive in developing the skills required for the future.
