The Leadership Skills Development Program, themed “Shaping Future Leaders with Impactful Communication,” was conducted as part of the IEEE YPSL Summit 2025, organized by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka. The session was organized by IEEE LETs Talk in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka with the aim of equipping young professionals and aspiring leaders with the communication skills required to create meaningful influence and impact. The session was conducted by Mr. Fahad Farook, an International Trainer and Certified Transformative Coach with extensive experience in communication, personal branding, and mindset development. Throughout the session, he shared valuable insights on how effective communication plays a vital role in leadership and emphasized that impactful leadership goes beyond authority and depends on clarity, authenticity, connection, and the ability to influence others positively. Through an engaging and thought-provoking approach, participants were encouraged to reflect on the way they communicate, present themselves, and connect with others in both professional and personal settings. The session highlighted the importance of developing an authentic communication style, challenging conventional thinking, and building the confidence required to communicate ideas effectively. Overall, the program provided participants with valuable perspectives and practical insights that could support them in becoming more confident and impactful future leaders.
