Unlike the wired networks, wireless networks face numerous challenges due to the inherent issues related to the wireless networks and their operational environments. Hence, the adaptation of wireless networks is slower than expected. However, it can be argued that if proper implementation options are selected that wireless networks can be secured appropriately assuring the same security as its wired counterpart. In this presentation we discuss the various security issues on wireless networks and explain how the wireless networks could be secured effectively.
