Workshop on Recent Trends in VLSI, Circuits and Systems (RTVCS–2026)

Description

The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Sri Lanka Chapter collaborated with the Two-Day International Workshop on Recent Trends in VLSI, Circuits and Systems (RTVCS–2026), held on 30–31 October 2026 at Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, India, in association with the 7th International Conference on Micro/Nanoelectronics Devices, Circuits, and Systems (MNDCS–2027). The workshop brought together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students to explore emerging developments in VLSI, semiconductor technologies, micro/nanoelectronics, circuits, and systems. The technical programme included expert talks, invited lectures, hands-on training, RTL coding and FPGA implementation, semi-custom IC design and power analysis, and industry-focused technical sessions. Through this collaboration, IEEE SPS Sri Lanka supported an initiative that promotes technical knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and academia–industry engagement. The collaboration also provided opportunities to strengthen connections between signal processing, electronics, circuits, and systems research communities. The activity contributed to the IEEE SPS Sri Lanka Chapter’s efforts to promote technical education, professional development, research collaboration, and international engagement in related areas of technology.
