The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Student Branch Chapter of SLTC held its monthly meeting during the examination period, when most members were focused on their academic commitments. As a result, Chapter activities and projects were kept limited during this period. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Executive Committee to reconnect and briefly discuss the Chapter’s upcoming activities and projects for the 2026/27 term. The committee reviewed the tentative plans and discussed how the upcoming initiatives could be organized and carried out effectively after the examination period. The meeting also welcomed the newly appointed Subcommittee Heads and members to the Chapter. The Executive Committee briefly explained their respective roles, responsibilities, and expected contributions. This helped the new members gain a better understanding of the Chapter’s organizational structure and how they could contribute to future activities. Overall, the meeting served as a short but meaningful session to reconnect during the examination period, welcome the new subcommittee members, clarify their roles, and prepare the Chapter for upcoming projects and initiatives.
