IEEE Xtreme 20.0 USJ – Organizing Committee Finalizing Meeting

Description

A meeting was conducted to finalize the Organizing Committee (OC) for IEEE Xtreme 20.0 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The meeting was attended by representatives of the IEEE Student Branch Executive Committee, IEEE Computer Society Chapter Executive Committee, and the IEEE Xtreme 20.0 Event Executive Committee. The meeting focused on reviewing and evaluating the applications received through the Organizing Committee recruitment process. The applicants were discussed and assessed based on their suitability, interests, capabilities, and the requirements of the event. Following the evaluation and discussion, the applicants were filtered and the suitable candidates were shortlisted for the IEEE Xtreme 20.0 Organizing Committee. The meeting also facilitated coordination among the Student Branch ExCom, Computer Society Chapter ExCom, and Event ExCom to ensure that the selected organizing team would be capable of effectively supporting the planning and execution of the event. The meeting concluded with the finalization of the selected applicants and provided the foundation for proceeding with the formation and operation of the IEEE Xtreme 20.0 Organizing Committee.
