The September 2026 monthly meeting of the IEEE IES Student Branch Chapter of Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) was conducted to review the chapter’s current status, discuss upcoming initiatives, and plan activities for the coming months. As September coincided with the university examination period, the chapter did not conduct any projects or major activities during the month. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Executive Committee members to discuss the chapter’s progress, review upcoming commitments, and identify priorities for the next phase of activities. A key focus of the meeting was the planning of the Triple Helix Electronics Track Roundtable Discussion, scheduled for 16 October 2026, in collaboration with the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. The committee discussed the event’s preparations, coordination requirements and necessary arrangements to ensure its successful execution. Additionally, the committee discussed the updated logos of the IEEE IES Student Branch Chapter of SLTC, including the revisions required to align with the relevant branding guidelines. The importance of maintaining consistency and ensuring compliance with the IEEE branding requirements was also considered. The meeting further provided an opportunity to briefly discuss upcoming chapter projects, future activities, and the necessary preparations to resume project implementation following the examination period. Overall, the meeting helped the Executive Committee review the chapter’s current priorities, coordinate preparations for the upcoming Triple Helix Electronics Track Roundtable Discussion, and establish a direction for future activities.
