Envision Phase 02|Career Guidance CSR Initiative

The Phase 2 – Career Guidance CSR Initiative of ENVISION 4.0, themed “Discover. Experience. Lead.” , was successfully conducted on 30 September 2026 at Malamulla Maha Vidyalaya, Panadura , with Sri Lanka Inspire, IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka. The initiative engaged approximately 60–70 Grade 10 and 11 students, providing them with valuable guidance and insights into career pathways, higher education opportunities, and future career prospects. The programme was designed to support students in developing a better understanding of the different educational and career pathways available to them. Through the guidance provided by the resource persons, participants were encouraged to explore their interests, identify potential career directions, and make more informed decisions regarding their future educational journey. With the expertise of Sri Lanka Inspire in career guidance and student mentorship, the initiative provided students with practical perspectives on academic and professional development. The programme also provided IEEE volunteers with an opportunity to apply their leadership, communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills while contributing to a meaningful community-focused initiative. As the second phase of ENVISION 4.0, the initiative successfully extended the impact of the programme beyond the university by creating a platform for school students to gain awareness, explore future opportunities, and think more confidently about their educational and career choices. The active participation of the students contributed to an engaging and meaningful learning experience.
