Description
Workshop 02 of CodeRally 7.0, “Building the Competitive Mindset”, was held at the IIT GP Square and focused on the thinking and strategy that go beyond writing code. Conducted by Mr. Ammar Ameerdeen, Solutions Architect at Kaya Global, the session aimed to help participants approach competitive programming with greater clarity, discipline and confidence. The workshop covered how to read and analyse problems effectively, prioritise questions under time pressure, make smart decisions during contests and manage time across a team. Participants also explored how to handle setbacks such as wrong answers and time-limit errors, the value of consistent practice, and how effective communication and role allocation within a team lead to better results. Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, participants gained practical techniques for staying focused and resilient during competitions, preparing them for the upcoming Selection Weeks of CodeRally 7.0.
