The CodeRally 7.0 Award Ceremony marked the grand conclusion of a three-month, national-level competitive programming journey organized by the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of IIT. This year’s edition brought together 1,300+ undergraduates from 35+ universities and institutions across Sri Lanka, progressing through hands-on workshops, weekly challenges, a 12-hour virtual pre-hackathon and an intense 24-hour on-site Grand Finale. Held at the IIT GP Square Auditorium, the ceremony recognized the outstanding performances across all three tiers: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Winning teams in the Intermediate and Advanced tiers were awarded cash prizes, while top performers across all three tiers received gift vouchers and other prizes in recognition of their skill and dedication. Virtual certificates were also awarded to participants, acknowledging their effort and participation throughout the competition. The ceremony also expressed gratitude to the speakers, partners, volunteers and organizing committee whose support made CodeRally 7.0 possible. The event celebrated not only the winners but the entire community of young programmers, reinforcing the chapter’s commitment to fostering technical excellence, teamwork and a culture of competitive programming in Sri Lanka.
