Code with WIE 2026 – Workshop 3

As part of the Code With WIE 2026 workshop series, the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Sri Lanka Section Affinity Group successfully conducted its third workshop, "Build, Manage, Deliver: Project to the Finish Line," via Google Meet. Building on the previous workshops, which introduced participants to emerging technologies and explored the process of transforming ideas into meaningful digital products, Workshop 03 focused on the practical aspects of managing projects from initiation to completion. The session aimed to help participants understand the importance of effective planning, coordination, problem-solving, and execution in achieving successful project outcomes. The workshop was designed to provide participants with industry insights and practical knowledge that they could apply to their Code With WIE 2026 competition projects, as well as their future academic and professional endeavours. Workshop 03, "Build, Manage, Deliver: Project to the Finish Line," marked another important milestone in the Code With WIE 2026 workshop series by focusing on the practical knowledge and skills required to manage projects effectively and deliver successful outcomes. The session provided participants with an opportunity to learn from industry experience and strengthen their understanding of project management, highlighting the importance of planning, coordination, and execution throughout the project lifecycle. The knowledge shared during the workshop is expected to support participants as they progress with their competition projects and prepare for the upcoming stages of Code With WIE 2026. The IEEE Women in Engineering Sri Lanka Section Affinity Group sincerely appreciates Ms. Erandi Liyanagamage, Manager – Web Projects at eMarketingEye, for sharing her professional experience and valuable insights with the participants.
