The fifth Executive Committee Meeting of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, held on 13th May 2026, focused on national project updates, financial management, upcoming initiatives, and partnership opportunities. Progress was reviewed across Let’s Talk, StudPro, AI Driven Sri Lanka, INSL, SL Inspire, and Y2NPro, including preparations for Education Week, industry engagement sessions, and upcoming workshops. The meeting also included a financial update, discussions on standardising financial reporting, and preparations for the IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals Awards. Additionally, key discussions covered the proposed reinstatement of the YPSL Lift Fund to support Student Branch initiatives, sponsorship opportunities with IFS, the Graduate Student Research Connect Programme, and future improvements following the successful Synergy event.
