RTL 3.0 – Collaboration Confirmation Meeting with IEEE YPSL

The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (IEEE SB USJ) successfully conducted a collaboration confirmation meeting with representatives of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka (IEEE YPSL) regarding RTL 3.0, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, with a particular focus on supporting undergraduates, especially first-year students, in understanding industry expectations and preparing for their professional careers. During the meeting, members of IEEE SB USJ introduced RTL 3.0 to the IEEE YPSL representatives, providing an overview of the initiative, its objectives, intended audience, and its significance in facilitating stronger connections between university students and the professional industry. Following the introduction and discussion, IEEE YPSL representatives expressed their agreement to collaborate with IEEE SB USJ as an Ecosystem Partner for RTL 3.0. This partnership aims to strengthen the initiative by connecting undergraduates with the professional ecosystem and supporting the development of industry-oriented knowledge and exposure. The meeting concluded with the confirmation of IEEE YPSL's partnership, marking an important step towards establishing a strong academic–industry collaboration for the successful implementation of RTL 3.0.
