The presentation is entitled "Energy Situation in Malaysia - Policies and Market Trends", which is aimed to give an overview of the Malaysia's electricity industry and some of the industry reform activities including review of the long term generation planning for Malaysia. The presentation would also cover the initiatives of Renewable Energy Development and Fuel requirements and give an understanding of the various generations of Power Purchase Agreements that exists in Malaysia. The resource person for this was Mr. Michael Joseph, who holds the position of Director of Integrated Lifecycle Management with Alstom Asia-Pacific Sdn. Bhd. based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia covering the East Asia region for the Service business. He is also involved with Operations & Maintenance and Long Term Agreement Sales for Power Plants in the region.
